© Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma October 11, 2015 October 8, 1937 ~ October 9, 2015 Funeral for Joyce Ann Warfield, 78, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev Wade Burleson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be 5:30-7 Monday evening at the funeral home. Joyce was born October 8, 1937, to Earl and Dora [Kraft] Diel, in Cherokee, and passed away Friday, October 9, 2015, in Enid. Joyce was raised in Burlington and graduated from beauty college. She worked as a hair dresser and owned a wig studio for more than 10 years. Joyce married John Warfield on July 19, 1979, in Enid, and spent more than 32 years with him until his passing Jan. 14, 2012. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where her Sunday school class was a blessing in her life. Joyce loved missions, she enjoyed to quilt, and was a member of a book club. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Joyce is survived by her children, Dana Bolt and husband Mike of Hominy, Lance Strait of Enid, Val Warfield and wife Holly of Enid, John R. Warfield of Prescott, Ariz., Austin Warfield and wife Becky of Cleo Springs, and Scott Warfield and wife Janice of Enid; grandchildren, Terrance Bolt and wife PJ and children Alexia and Morgan, Cortney Bolt, Candace Painter and husband Cody and daughter Sadie, Lynsie Sturgeon and husband Quinten and daughters Addy and Avery, Devin Warfield and wife Nikki, Whitney Warfield, Joshua Warfield and wife Letia, Kent Warfield and daughter Landree, Kyle Warfield, Cody Warfield and son Cadyn, Colin Warfield, Cerena Warfield; two sisters, Charlotte Mardis of Ponca City and Connie Starks and husband Larry of Manchester; and other relatives and friends. © Anderson~Burris Funeral Home Enid, Oklahoma January 2012 May 4, 1940 ~ January 14, 2012 Funeral service for John Warfield, 71, of Cleo Springs, will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Wade Burleson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 at the funeral home. John was born on May 4, 1940, to Vallie J. and Della Susan [Gibson] Warfield, in Bell, California, and died on Saturday, January 14, 2012, in Enid. John graduated from Cleo Springs High School, and received his bachelor’s degree from OSU in Animal Science. On July 19, 1979 he married Joyce A. Strait in Enid. He was a farmer, rancher, and oil and gas operator. John was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He served as a school board member of Aline-Cleo School. John loved spending time with his family, friends, his church, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. John is survived by his wife Joyce of the home; his children Val E. Warfield and wife Holly of Enid, John R. Warfield of Prescott Valley, AZ, Austin Warfield of Cleo Springs, Scott Warfield of Enid, Dana Bolt and husband Mike of Hominy, and Lance Strait of Nash; grandchildren Devin Warfield, Whitney Warfield, Joshua Warfield, Kent Warfield, and Kim Floyd and daughter Landree Warfield, Kyle Warfield, Cody Warfield and son Cadyn, Colin Warfield, Cerena Warfield, Terrance Bolt and wife PJ and children Alexia Adame and Morgan Bolt, Cortney Bolt, Candace Bolt and Lynsie Strait and fiancĂ© Quinten Sturgeon; brother Jack Warfield of Cleo Springs.
