Esther [O'Brien] Walton
February 16, 1917 ~ June 26, 2020


Graveside service for Esther Walton, 103, will be Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery, with Reverend Susan Southall officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation with the family present will be Monday evening, 5:00-6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Esther was born February 16, 1917, to Bert and Georgia O'Brien in Mutual, Oklahoma, and passed away June 26, 2020, in Enid.

She married Delbert Walton in Jefferson, Oklahoma, May 9, 1940. They made their home in Enid and were blessed with three children.

Esther was a housewife, excellent seamstress and loved to cook. She worked for Asfhal Dress Manufacturing, Baby Duds dress manufacturing and later worked for Gold Spot Dairy, where she retired in 1985. Esther loved to sew, knit, crochet, work crossword puzzles, cook and bake. She also loved to be outside working in the yard. Esther was a member of Willow View United Methodist Church and found her strength in the Lord and loved her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, daughter-in-law, Ruth Walton.

Esther is survived by her children, Sandra and husband Joe Quintanilla, Evert and wife Gayla Walton, and Montie Walton, all of Enid; six grandchildren, Gary and wife Judy Reed, Shawna and husband John Gaines, Melissa and husband Justin McGann, Sabrina and husband Dustin Dierksen, all of Enid, Dr. Perry and wife Dr. Nicole Walton of Ocean Spring, MS, Dustin and wife Dr Lindsey Walton of Fairway, KS; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Ruth Ann [Stettnisch] WaltonDecember 25, 1938 ~ November 15, 2008


Enid,Ok — A funeral service for Ruth Ann Walton, 69, of Enid, will be 1:30 p.m. today, Nov. 18, 2008, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Reverend Paul Hass officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Ruth Ann was born December 25, 1938, in Aline, Okla., to Vernon and Ina [Reihm] Stettnisch and died Saturday, November 15, 2008, in Enid.

She graduated from Enid High School. On August 2, 1958, she married Dean Walton at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Enid. She was a homemaker. She returned to business school in 1990, and worked for Trans World Airline Tech School in Kansas City, Mo., as a secretary. Ruth Ann was a great mother that enjoyed her two daughters, granddaughter and great-grandchildren. Ruth and Dean moved back to Enid in 2000. She was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church, L.W.M.L., and enjoyed sewing and reading.

She is survived by her husband Dean of the home; two daughters and their husbands, Toni and Robert Meacham of Enid and Shelly and Alan Carpenter of Rogers, Ark.; granddaughter and her husband Nicole and Brandon Cates of Enid; great-grandchildren, Haylie and Kyler Cates of Enid; one brother, Terry Stettnisch of Friendswood, Texas; one sister and her

Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Paul’s Church elevator fund or Oklahoma Medcal Research Foundation, leukemia division.

Ruth Marie [Gragert] Walton
September 19, 1959 ~ November 24, 2018


Funeral service celebration for Ruth Marie Walton, 59, of Enid, will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at St Paul's Lutheran Church, with Pastor David Reber Jr officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday evening 5:30 to 7:00 at the funeral home.

Ruth was born September 19, 1959, in Enid to LaVern H. and Opal [Heim] Gragert, and passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Enid.

Ruth grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School. She then received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Ruth married Montie J. Walton on July 31, 1999 in Enid. She worked at the Bank of Kremlin for many years until her retirement. Ruth was a lifetime member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, where she was baptized, confirmed, and married.

Ruth is survived by her husband Montie; children Perry Walton and wife Nicole of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and Dustin Walton and wife Lindsey of Fairway, Kansas; 4 grandkids, Abby, Hannah, Lucas, and Maddie; her parents LaVern and Opal Gragert; 2 sisters Kris Young and husband Ron, and Paula Adlek and husband Steve; nieces, nephews, many friends and other relatives.
