July 22, 1942 - August 31, 2019

A celebration of life for Michael Walser, 77, of Woodward will be 2:00p.m., Friday, September 6, 2019 at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Pastor Jason Dirks officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Michael Theyo Walser was born July 22, 1942 in Enid, Oklahoma to Russell Walser and Virginia Walter and passed away August 31, 2019 in Woodward, Oklahoma. He graduated from Enid High School and then served in the Navy. In May of 1966 he married Leota Irene Meritt and together they had two children. Michael worked as a paint and body man at GEFCO. During his spare time he enjoyed painting cars. In 2002 he fell in love again with Robyn Miller and they later married in 2012. Michael enjoyed watching movies, especially anything Robin Williams. He was an avid Elvis Presley fan and loved singing along to his music. When his children were younger he enjoyed going to the Darryl Starbird Car Show.

Michael loved to spend time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and other family members. He was a member of Lincoln Avenue Baptist church and enjoyed singing during services on Sunday morning.

Michael is survived by his wife, Robyn Walser; son, Mark Walser; sister, Rusann Kay; his grandchildren, Timothy Walser, Jonathan Walser, Brandon Walser, Tasha Walser, Kali Walser, and Desiree Ramirez; great-grandson, Desmond Ramirez.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Leota Walser; and his son, Matt Walser; daughter-in-law, Tammy Walser.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
