Jack Richard Wales, 81, was born in Wichita, Kan., on March 23, 1931, to Jesse Harold and Ethel Irene Wales and went peacefully to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on July 11, 2012. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jess, James and George; 1 baby sister, Cynthia Ann: 1 son, Jackie Richard Connell

He is survived by his wife, Luetta of 34 years; 1 brother, Ed Wales and wife Vicki of Plano, Texas; 2 sons, Kevin Cameron of San Jose, Calif., Keith Cameron and wife Dana of Waynoka, Okla.; stepdaughter Roni Karmineke and husband Justin of Leander, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Amy, Ryan, & Kory Cameron of Waynoka, Okla.; 1 step-grandson, Jake Karmineke of Leander Texas; 3 sisters-in-law, Laverna and husband Norman Dezort of Woodward, Okla., Dee Wales of Enid, Okla., Gloria Wales of Enid Okla. and many nieces & nephews.

Jack was honorably discharged a sergeant in the Marines; serving three years; from 1949 to 1952; while serving one year of that in the Korean War. He spent 25 years working for Dickie's Clean Clothes as a route man & later a salesman; later he spent 15 years running his own delivery service called Go-fur delivery; If it could fit in the back of his S-10 pickup he would bring it to you anytime; anywhere. Jack loved bowling, participating in the Senior Olympics, playing cards, and most of all playing softball. One of his true passions was telling jokes (some were actually good) to all that would listen & laugh.

Jack's end of life celebration on this world will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2012, at Southern Hills United Methodist Church, (8200 S. Penn.) OKC, Okla.; with the Reverend Connie Gibson officiating. Graveside services will be 3 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2012, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid, Okla.
