Fairview, Oklahoma August 1954 July 24, 1875 ~ August 24, 1954 FAIRVIEW - Mrs Emma Amelia Wadsworth, 79, died suddenly Tuesday at her home in Fairview after suffering a heart attack Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am Thursday in the Central Christian church with the Rev Art Rost and the Rev Carl Packard officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park cemetery with the Speece funeral home, Fairview in charge. Born in Wichita, she moved with her parents to Caldwell where she received a formal education. At the opening of the Cherokee Strip she moved wirh her parents to a farm in Kingfisher county, near the town of Kiel, now kniown as Loyal. After her marriage to R. A. Wadsworth in 1900, she m,oved to Oakwood, later to Weatherford where for 25 years they operated a students rooming house. They moved to Fairview in 1948. She was a member of the Central Christian church and was past matron of the Weatherford Easrern Star. Survivors include four daughters,Mrs Guy Johndon, Longdale, Mrs Earl Sions, Weatherford, and Mrs R. B. Yorke, Ringwood, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. |
