1928 - 2011

Funeral services for Charles (Charlie) Williams age 82 of Enid will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Gary Snider officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the kind direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-7 pm at the funeral home.

Charlie was born September 10, 1928 to Hubert and Josephine Roark Williams and passed away Friday, March 25, 2011 in Enid. He married Lois Watkins on May 15, 1948. Their children are Chuck and Connie Williams of Lahoma, Nadine and Dewayne Lingenfelter of Enid, Terry and LuAnn Williams of Crescent, and Bryan and Marla Williams of Laramie, WY, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and one more due in May, two sisters Debbie Crisson of Waukomis and Thelma Zelnicek of Enid, two brothers, Larry Williams of Enid and Don Williams of Choctaw, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.

Charlie worked at Max and Rex's Cafe for 16 years and retired from Union Equity after 32 years. He did horse trimming and shoeing for many years. Charlie spent many hours working with Horse programs of local and county fairs in Garfield and Grant Counties.

Memorials may be made to OMRF-Heart division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
