Robert Newton Wall, Jr.
January 17, 1931 ~ July 30, 2008

Bob passed away peacefully on July 30, 2008 in Orlando, FL, at the age of 77 after an extended illness.

He was born January 17, 1931 in Ponca City, OK to Mary Ayers Wall and Robert Newton Wall, Sr., who preceded him in death.

During his childhood years Bob lived in Stillwater, Poteau, and Anadarko, OK. During his school years in Anadarko, he was involved in the Boy Scouts, achieving the rank of Life Scout.

He graduated from Anadarko High School in 1949 and then attended Oklahoma A&M College, now Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1954. Like his father before him, he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon social fraternity.

Upon graduation, Bob married Thelma Mae Wilson on January 29, 1954.

In March of that year Bob began a three year tour of duty in the United States Air Force as a commissioned officer.

After six-month training assignments in Mauldin, MO and Lubbock, TX, he was assigned to Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu, HI, where he was stationed for the next two years. A daughter, Lisa Lin, was born in Hawaii in l956.

After his Air Force tour of duty ended, Bob, Thelma and Lisa Lin moved to Tulsa Ok, where he went to work in the management training program of Phillips Petroleum Co.

A year later he accepted a position in the marketing area of Crane Carrier Co, rising to the position of marketing manager. A son, Steven Michael was born to the couple in 1958, in Tulsa.

In l963, Bob accepted a position of President of Manufactured Products, Inc, in Odessa, TX. After one year there, he moved to Georgetown, TX and formed Concrete Construction, Inc., a manufacturer of concrete construction equipment.

Bob and Thelma were divorced in 1979.

Bob then married Betty Calvert and formed Calvert Concrete, a manufacturer of concrete products. In 1995, he sold that company and moved to Huntsville, AL where he enjoyed retirement.

Bob and Betty divorced in 2001 and he then moved to Orlando to be near his daughter's family.

Some of the things Bob enjoyed most in life were music and woodworking. He sang in the church choirs during his time here on earth and will surely be singing with the choir in Heaven.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Lisa Lin Dukes and her husband Bob Dukes of Orlando; son, Steven Michael Wall and wife, Meneese of Santa Fe, NM.; three grandchildren, Ryan Dukes of the Air Force Academy, CO, Melissa Dukes of Orlando, Coco Wall of Santa Fe, and a sister, Wilma Jean Jolly of Tulsa.

Services were held on August 4th at Henniger-Hinson Funeral Home in Enid, OK with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid where his parents and other family members are buried.
