Mrs. John Vette Funeral Saturday
Funeral Services for Mrs. John (Lena) Vette, 80, Lahoma, who died in a local hospital Wednesday evening followed an illness of a year, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church at Lahoma. Rev. William K. Hannausch will officiate and interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
Mrs. Vette was born Sept. 26, 1888, at Barnes, Ks., where she grew up there. She married John Vette in January, 1907, at Barnes and came to Oklahoma in 1909, settling on a farm north of Lahoma. She is preceded in death by her husband and two daughters.

Mrs. Vette was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Lahoma and the Ladies Aid.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Mabel) Marquardt, Lahoma, and Mrs. Glen (Bernice)Buckminister, Norman, a son, Lawrence Vette, Lahoma; four brothers, Otto Vathauer, Washington, Kansas, Bill, Harvey, and Frank, all of Barnes, Kansas, two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Ida) Holle, Greenleaf, Kansas, and Mrs. Laura Toburen, Clay Canter, Kansas; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
