Mrs. Lawrence Vernon Services in Medford

Medford – Services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday in the First Christian Church here for Mrs. Lawrence (Thelma) Vernon, 50, who died Saturday evening in an Enid hospital following a period of failing health.

Rev. Don Larrick will officiate with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid, under direction of the Hills Funeral Home, Medford.

Mrs. Vernon had resided on a farm near Medford since her marriage in 1934. She was born at Goltry and attended Jefferson High School. She was a member of the Christian Church.

Survivors include her widower, of the home, her mother, Mrs. Mary Mahaffey, Pond Creek; four brothers, Vernon Jefferson; P. E. and Virgil, Enid; Alfred, Bartlesville.
