Mary Esther Reyes Vasquez

Grave side service for Mary Vasquez , 92 of Enid will be at 11 am Monday April 29, 2013 at Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, with the Rev. Alvin Dalton officiating. Viewing will be 8 am to 9 pm today at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Mary was born April 13, 1921 to Joseph and Rosa Rice Reyes in Rusk, OK and died April 25, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mary grew up in Enid and attended Beeches Beauty College. On Sept 16, 1939 she married Robert Vasquez in Enid where they made their home. She owned and operated the Personality Beauty Salon in downtown Enid for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, grand son Scott Young, her parents, and brothers, John and Frank Reyes.

She is survived by her children, Mary and Roy Holmes of Mooresville, IN; Gary and Roseanna Vasquez of Enid, brother Joe Reyes of AZ; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grand children.
