Funeral services for Ella VanBuskirk, 93 of Enid, will be 2 PM Thursday, May 17, 2001 at Landusau – Evans Chapel with Elder Gilbert Green officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Landusau – Evans Funeral Home.

Ella was born September 1, 1907 near Ames to Byron and Lennie (Wimer) Bowles and died Monday, May 14, 2001 at her home. She married Lewis I. VanBuskirk December 15, 1926. They farmed in the Ringwood and Lahoma areas until moving to Enid in 1974. Lewis preceded her in death January 17, 1988.

She is survived by two sons, Harley and wife Berneita of Carrier, Bob and wife Etta Fern and a daughter Lottie Wells and husband Milton all of Lahoma, eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Also surviving are sister-in-laws Idabell Elliott of Enid, Eva May Paquin, Casa Grande, Arizona, and Eva Rogers, Wasco, California.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice, Circle of Love.
