ENID, OK - Funeral service for Robert Vanaman, 77, will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dan O'Daniel officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Robert was born to Jack and Lennis (Billue) Vanaman on June 27, 1936, in Broken Arrow, Okla., and passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, in Enid.

Robert grew up in Catoosa and served in the U.S. Army.

On Dec. 30, 1957, he married Sarah Stambaugh.

They made their home in Enid in 1960.

Robert was a truck driver for Farmland Industries, retiring with over 3 million safe driving miles.

He enjoyed raising miniature horses, fishing and raising quail.

He attended Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church.

Robert is survived by wife, Sarah; children, Jo Ann Maloney and husband Scott of Waukomis, Karen Brown and husband Mike of Enid, and June Mason and husband Michael of Enid; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Vanaman and wife Sheila, and Wayne Vanaman and wife Judie, all of Owasso; and one sister, Kay Hendren of Claremore.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary.

Memorials may be made to Cowboy Church or OMRF, heart division.

ENID, OK — Funeral service for Sarah Vanaman, 76, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Bruce Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Sarah was born Jan. 29, 1938, in Madill, Okla., and raised by her parents, Ruby and James R. Moore Sr. Sarah passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014, in Enid.

Sarah grew up in Madill and graduated from Madill High School.

On Dec. 30, 1957, she married Robert Vanaman. They made their home in Enid in 1960. Sarah was a homemaker, and raised miniature horses and quail. She attended First Church of the Nazarene and Cowboy Church.

Sarah is survived by three daughters, JoAnn Maloney and husband Scott of Waukomis, Karen Brown and husband Mike of Enid, and June Mason and husband Michael of Enid; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, James Moore Jr. and wife Jan of Lakeville, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Robert on Oct. 11, 2013.

Memorials may be made to OMRF, diabetes division.
