Joy Lynn Vogt
December 7, 1952 - January 16, 2024

Celebration of Life service for Joy Lynn Vogt, age 71, of Breckinridge, OK, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday January 23, 2024, at Enid First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jarrod Cloud officiating. A private family burial at Memorial Park Cemetery will precede the service. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Joy was born December 7, 1952, in Oklahoma City and adopted by John Charles and Irene (Becker) Hill and passed away on January 16, 2024, with her husband at her side.

She attended Byron-Driftwood grade school and graduated from Burlington High School in 1971. Following graduation, she attended Northwestern College in Alva majoring in business. She worked in the business office at the Northern Oklahoma Resource Center of Enid (NORCE) for 40 years, retiring in 2014 when the facility closed.

On June 30, 1984, she married James (Jim) Vogt and they made their home in Breckinridge. She enjoyed the many trips to Northern Arkansas and Branson, having seen most every show at the Sight 'n Sound Theater. She was always ready for a road trip. She enjoyed crafts, flowers, birds and chickens, especially the bantams. She had several miniature Schnauzers through the years that she loved as her "kids", and Gracie and Lexie were her current babies.

Joy is survived by her husband Jim, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Carolyn and John Pearson, brother-in-law AJ Vogt, and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Special thanks to Humanity Hospice for their care and support.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Enid First Assembly - Peru Missions.
