© Enid Morning News Enid, Oklahoma Nocvember 21, 1882 ~ October 7, 1952 P. N. Tuttle, 69, died unexpectly of a heart attack Tuesday morning at this home three miles south of Garber. A native of Minnasota, he came to Mutual, Ok in the spring of 1926 and engaged in farming. In 1946 he moved to Garber where he operated the "Y" service station. He is survived by his wife of the home and two sons, Lester C. of Rochester, NY and Robert M. of Tulsa. Funeral services will be helt at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Garber Baptist Church with the Rev. Lloyd Luikart officiating . Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid, with Anderson funeral home of Garber, in charge. |
© Enid Morning News Enid, Oklahoma Tuesday March 9, 1976 June 25, 1885 ~ March 7, 1976 WOODWARD-Services for Mrs Mamie A. Tuttle, 90, who died Sunday morning in a Woodward hospital following a lengthy illness will be Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. in Stecher Mortuary Chapel at Woodward with the Rev C.H. Barrick, paster of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Enid Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Tuttle was born in Bloomington, Ind., June 25, 1895. In 1905, she moved to Oklahoma settling in the Moscow Flats southeast of Woodward. Later she moved to Garber. She married Paphiras Tuttle. He died in 1952. In 1962, she returned to Woodward where she was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include one son R. N. New Orleans, LA, two brothers, Ray McHard, Woodward, and W.C. McHard, Blackwell, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. |
