© Amy Stittsworth Funeral Home Enid, Oklahoma November 2019 June 28, 1938 ~ November 10, 2019 Richard Dean Turney was born on June 28, 1938 to Lee and Jessie Turney in Hinton, Oklahoma, and passed away peacefully on November 10, 2019 in Enid. He was preceded in passing by his mother Jessie and father Lee and his wife Ila Laverne Turney. Richard is survived by daughter, Sherry, step daughter Carol Jay Cox and husband Lee, Diane Arterbury and husband Waymon, Glenna Johnson and husband Gary, one step-son, Bob Gibson and wife Gwen. Eight grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Richard retired from Athey Lumber Company where he loved driving the company truck, making deliveries and talking to everyone. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 23, 2019 in the Commons Chapel. Richard's request was to be cremated under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
