Edward Marlow Tindell
November 6, 1911 ~ October 29, 1996


Edward Marlow Tindell died after a lengthy illness October 29, 1996, in Tyler, Texas. Mr Tindell was born November 6, 1911, in Cameron, Missouri.

With his four sisters he attended school at Kibby, Oklahoma, where he was a member of the basketball and track teams.

He became a resident of the Enid in 1954 and was employed at the George E. Failing Company until moving to Washington state in 1965. Mr. Tindell and his wife, Winifred Ricker Tindell, retired to Texas in 1977.

Mr Tindell is survived by his wife, Winifred; his daughter, Blossom Harris; and son, Max Tindell; two sisters: Mrs Ivanell "Icke" McDaniel and Mrs Wilda Bodam, both of Pueblo, Colorado; four grandchildren: John G. Harris III of Salisbury, Maryland; Carleen C. Clark of Denver, Colorado and Brian D. Tindell and Vanessa F. Tindell, both of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by three great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

Mr. Tindell's remains are interred in the Garden of the Last Supper, Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid.
