The funeral for Holman Tims, 78, of Medford will be Wednesday at 10 AM in the Medford Nazarene Church with the Reverends Brian Smith, Terry Armstrong, and W. O. Boomer officiating. Burial will be in the Enid Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Hills – Ely Funeral Home, Medford.

He was born June 23, 1917, in Marlow to Doil and Cordie Moore Tims and died Saturday, December 23, 1995, at Bethany Health Center in Bethany.

Tims attended Marlow schools and graduated from Marlow high school in 1934.

He married Edna Boehm on January 31, 1938, at Medford where they made their home since 1947. He was a farmer and worked for the Clyde co-op for 27 years. Tims was a member of the Nazarene church.

Tims is survived by his wife, Edna of the home; son Montie of Houston, Texas; daughters, Mary Olson and Madelyn Campbell both of Bethany; brother, D. E. Tims, Jr.; sister Nina Waggoner of Marlow; eight grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Nazarene Church of Medford with the funeral home serving as custodian.
