Ordellia Williams Teske
November 12, 1884 ~ March 1980


Funeral services for Mrs Ordellia McKinney Teske, 95, a former resident of Enid who died Thursday evening in her home at Granby, Missouri, will be at 1 PM Monday in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. She will be buried in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs Teske was born November 12, 1884, in Kansas and lived in different areas of Oklahoma before settling in Enid. While here she worked in homes around Phillips University.

She and Bill Teske were married January 1, 1950. They moved to Missouri the following year. Mrs. Teske was preceded in death by her husband, eight children, five grandchildren, nine brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs Otto [Olive] Timm, Enid; two sons, Adolphus McKinney, Granby and Alfred McKinney, Wilburton; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and three great – great – grandchildren.

Arthur T. Teske
1887 ~ 1975


Arthur T. Teske, 87, died early Sunday in a local hospital following an extended illness. His funeral will be at 10 AM Wednesday in the Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev Glen C. Kollmeyer officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger - Allen Funeral Home.

Teske was born November 27, 1887, near Janesville, Minnesota. He came to Oklahoma with his parents when a small child, settling near Carrier. He was reared there and attended rural school, later farming in the area.

He married Ella Hoetzel in Glenella Lutheran Church. They moved to Enid in 1922 where he was locally employed.

At the time of his retirement, he was employed by the Enid public school system. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Survivors include one son, Frank Teske, Carrier; two daughters, Mrs. Glenn [Opal] Broadstone, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Alvin [Maxine] Wichert, Enid; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one brother, Reinholdt Teske, Sparta, Wisconsin, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella, in 1956, two sons, one sister and two brothers.

Rev Arlie Eldon Teske Sr
January 22, 1929 ~ October 18, 2019


Graveside services for Rev Arlie Teske Sr, 90, formerly of Enid, will be Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Josh Cosby and Arlie Teske Jr, officiating. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Arlie was born on January 22, 1929 in Taloga, Oklahoma to George and Ada Koehn Teske and passed away on October 18, 2019 at his home in Oklahoma City.

He grew up in Washington and Oklahoma and graduated from Enid High School in 1947. Arlie graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God College, Waxahachie, Texas.

In June 1958, he married Jennie Scott in Canton and they made their home in Southard. They became missionaries in Korea in 1965. They retired in 1996, and made their home in Enid.

He was a member of Central Assembly of God Church and was a leader for Royal Rangers. Arlie served as pastor for Assembly of God, Pond Creek for several years.

Arlie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jennie on July 24, 2019; infant daughter, Patricia Ann; son-in-law, Bryan Vaughn.

He is survived by his children, Arlie Teske, Jr. [Denise] of Oklahoma City, Rebecca Vaughn [Joel] of Stafford, Virginia, and Freida Vaughn of Hugo, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; brother, Ervan Teske of Enid; sisters, Iona Green and Arlene Teske, both of Enid; nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Central Assembly of God-Missions.

Ervan Lee Tedske
July 2, 1933 ~ August 14, 2020


Funeral services for Ervan Teske, 87 of Enid, will be Friday, August 21, 2020 at 10:00 am in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dan Barrick officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation with the family present will be Thursday evening from 6:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Ervan was born on July 2, 1933 in Taloga, Oklahoma to George and Ada Koehn Teske and died on August 14, 2020 in Enid.

He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Alaska. Ervan worked for several years as an electrician at Vance Air Force Base until his retirement.

He was a farmer and member of Enid First Assembly of God Church.

Ervan was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Banks Teske; daughter, Kimberly Teske-Jobes; parents, brother Arlie Teske, Sr.; sister, Verda Slimp.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; children, Terry Teske, Tim Teske, Sherri West; nine grandchildren, Melissa Teske-Sierra, Terri Teske-Fuller, Sarah Jobes-Clark, Andrew Teske, Kendall Teske, Maggie West-Powell, Clay West, Krista Herrara and Chad Shaver, fourteen great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild; sisters, Iona Green and Arlene Teske, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to OMRF-diabetes division.

Jennie M. [Scott] Teske
September 9, 1938 ~ July 24, 2019


Graveside services for Jennie Teske, 80 of Oklahoma City, will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 26, 2019, in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Bradley Barrick officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Jennie was born September 9, 1938, in Okeene, OK, and passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019, in Oklahoma City.

She grew up in the Canton, OK area and earned a BA in Biblical Studies from Southwestern.

She married Arlie Teske Sr, in June 1958, in Canton, and they made their home in Southard. In 1965, they went to Korea where they were involved in missionary work, retiring in 1996, and made their home in Enid.

In 2015, Jennie moved to Oklahoma City to be near family.

She was a member of Central Assembly of God, taught missionettes, and Sunday School for a number of years.

She is survived by her husband, Arlie Teske Sr; children; Arlie Teske Jr, and wife Denise of Oklahoma City, Rebecca Vaughan and husband Joel of Stafford, VA, and Freida Vaughan of Hugo, OK, twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two brothers, James Scott of Canton, and John Scott of Bethany, and one sister, Billie Hayes of Coweta, OK.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Patricia Ann Teske; parents; son-in-law, Bryan Vaughan; sister, Margaret.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Central Assembly of God Missions.
