© Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma December 26. 2013 August 12, 1923 ~ December 24, 2013 Funeral for Iretta Terrel, 90, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Central Christian Church. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home 6-7 p.m. Friday. Iretta was born August 12, 1923, to Orvil and Lillie Sands Robertson and died December 24, 2013. She married Bernard Clothier January 11, 1945. He died January 24, 1976. She married Freddy Terrel June 14, 1977. He preceded her in death December 29, 2001. Surviving are daughter Kay Rogers; grandchildren, William Rogers and Andrea Rogers; and sister Deloras Oringderff. © Enid Morning News Enid, Oklahoma December 1976 September 22, 1957 ~ December 20, 1976 Randy E. Terrel, 19, 2221 E. Locust, died Monday morning in an Army hospital in Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. His service will be Thursday at 2 PM in Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Vernon Pendleton and the Rev Melvin Warren officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Terrel was born in Blackwell on September 22, 1957, and spent his early life there. He had lived in Enid the past four years where he attended Waller junior high and Enid high school. He had been employed by the United Super Market on West Garriott, and was a member of the Baptist Church. Terrel was in the 45th Division of the National Guard, and was on training when struck by his last illness. Survivors include his parents, Mr and Mrs Don Terrel, Enid; one brother, Darrol W., and one sister, Cheryle Ann, both of Enid; and his maternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Herbert A. Welch, Blackwell. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Cancer Fund with the funeral home acting as custodian. |
© Enid Morning News Enid, Oklahoma November 1975 June 10, 1928 ~ November 16, 1975 Rena Jean Terrel, 47, 1813 E. Walnut, died early Sunday in a local hospital following a period of ill health. Her services will be Wednesday at 2 PM in Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Horner officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs Terrel was born June 10, 1928, at Fairview. She attended schools there, coming to Enid after graduating from Fairview high school. She had made her home in Enid most of her life except for a short period she lived in California. On July 31, 1960, she married Fred Terrel in Enid. She was employed for several years by the Safeway Stores and later employed by Advance Meat Market. She was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Fred, of the home; her mother, Mrs Rena A. Wheeler, Fairview, one daughter, Mrs Carmen McKeel Stephens, Enid; one son, Roy McKee, Enid; one grandson; three sisters, Mrs Leota Wilmott, and Mrs Georgia Clements, both of California, and Mrs Elsie John, Enid; one brother, Arthur Gertz, Fairview, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister. Contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Cancer Fund with the funeral home acting as custodian. |
