Leo S. Tarrant
October 17, 1903 ~ January 15, 1976


Jet - Leo S. Tarrant, 72, died Thursday morning in an Enid hospital. His funeral will be at 2 PM Saturday in the United Methodist Church with the Rev Ray Howard officiating. The Laverne Valley Lodge No 453 will conduct Masonic graveside rites in the Memorial Cemetery in Enid.

Grapes Funeral Home of Cherokee is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of the home; three daughters, Mrs Robert [Kay] Cress of Tehran, Iran, Mrs Leo [Patty] Long of May and Mrs Mohammed [Shirley] Ahmed, Amman, Jordan; a brother, Alton Tarrant of Mullenville, Kansas; 12 grandchildren.

A daughter, a sister and two brothers died earlier.
