A graveside service for Brad Scott Szczepaniak, age 34, of Enid, will be 1 p.m. today, April 25, 2006, in the garden chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev Vanoy Fitch will officiate. Memorial services will be 3 p.m. in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. The Rev Paul Hass will officiate. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Brad was born Oct, 1, 1971, in Alva to Bonnie and Richard Szczepaniak and died early Sunday morning, April 23, 2006 at his home.

Growing up, he attended St Paul’s Lutheran School, Waller Junior High and was a graduate of Enid High School in 1991. After graduation, Brad attended Autry Technology Center, and presently he was attending the Culinary Academy at Penn Foster.

On June 16, 2005, he married Laurie Ellis in Government Springs Park.

He was a volunteer at St Mary’s and PEGASYS.

He is survived by his wife, Laurie Szczepaniak; parents, Bonnie and Richard Szczepaniak; maternal grandmother, Thelma Turner; paternal grandmother, Katherine Szczepaniak; and mother-in-law, Melodie Ellis, all of Enid.

Preceded in death by his sister, Angela Dawn Kendall, and paternal grandpa.

Memorials can be made through the funeral home to Cystic Fibrosis, Hospice Circle of Love and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Condolences may be emailed to the family at ladusauevans@coxinet.net.
