Submitted by: Jo Aguirre

Carrier community was saddened by the death of Mrs. Virgil Streck which occurred last Tuesday night, 13 November, 1934 from an automobile accident.

Mrs. Streck, a bride of about a year, was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Jander, and a graduate of Carrier high school, and had a host of friends in our community who extend their sympathy to the bereaved families.

Funeral services were held Friday at the Henninger Funeral Home in Enid. Music was furnished by a quartet from the Carrier church, and the pallbearers were girls who were in her graduating class. Burial was made in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
