Funeral service for Ruby Lee Sneary, 80, will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2011, at Christ United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Jones officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with family and friends will be 2:30-4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She was born to Montie and Mary (Wells) Johnson on Aug. 17, 1930, in Enid and died Thursday, April 7, 2011, in Enid.

Ruby married Max Sneary Aug. 11, 1950, in Enid.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Christ UMW and Casa LaMia HCE. She was Grand Champion Apple Pie Winner for two years in a row. Ruby enjoyed quilting, crafts, gardening and cooking. She was well loved by all and touched many lives.

Ruby is survived by her children, Patti (Alan)Schmook of Oklahoma City, Peggy (Alan) Topliff of Pembroke, N.H., Scott (Jennette) Sneary of Enid, Pam (Monroe) Taylor of The Woodlands, Texas, Michael (Suzanne) Sneary of Newport Beach, Calif., and Montie (Shawna) Sneary of Claremont, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Doris Wilson of Wichita Falls, Texas, Mary Janzen of Tulsa, Ruth Strumpler of Oklahoma City and Dorothy Bowen of St. Charles, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Max.

Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church.
