Funeral services for Nellie Valentine Seibel, age 89, of Weatherford, OK, formerly of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Garvie Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Nellie was born February 14, 1919, in Douglas, OK, to William and Cora Hobbs Apple and passed away Friday, September 26, 2008, in Weatherford, OK.

She grew up in the Douglas community and later married Adolph Seibel on June 11, 1935, in Anthony, KS. He passed away March 22, 2005. Nellie cooked at Enid High School for 17 years but really enjoyed being a homemaker. Nellie was an active member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School.

Nellie is survived by her daughter, Sandy Wolgamott and her husband, Gary of Weatherford, OK; a son, Jerry and his wife, Janet Seibel of Hutchinson, KS; two grandchildren, Dotti Forehand and her husband, Shannon of Stephenville, TX, and Thad Wolgamott and his wife, Marilyn of Weatherford, OK; and five great-grandchildren, Kenny, Tyler, Riley, Avery and Emma. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman and Charlie, and two sisters, Mae and Jessie.
