YUKON — JoLene was born in Enid, Okla., to Cloyd and Laudine Terrel on Feb. 18, 1942, and died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at Oklahoma Heart Hospital, Oklahoma City.

She graduated from Enid High School.

She married Virgil Schroeder on Nov. 20, 1964. They had 50 years together. To this union, three children were born: Terrel Lee, Michael Cory and Jakki JoLene.

JoLene was a beautician who had her own shop for several years. She also worked at Dillard’s as a cosmetic salesperson. Most proudly, she was the loving mother and caregiver to three wonderful children. She was a devout Christian and a longtime member of Surrey Hills Baptist Church.

She leaves her husband, Virgil; her sons, Terrel and wife Melody, Cory and wife Christy; her daughter, Jakki; and three grandchildren, Parker Neal Schroeder, Madison Grace Schroeder and Micayla Reese Schroeder. Also, an aunt, “MOM” Lavelle and her daughter and husband, Janene and Lynn Yost of Garber; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray Lee and Connie Schroeder, Joyce and Clark Newton and Juanita Case, all of Cleo Springs, and their children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Denny.

Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at Surrey Hills Baptist Church, with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid, Okla.
