OBITUARY RUBY M. RUST
RUST, Ruby M., 83, Highland Park Manor, died Wednesday at Enid Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be at 1:30 pm, Saturday, at the Chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry B. Hilton officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown Funeral Home. Mrs. Rust was born Jan. 20, 1907, in Freedom, OK, to Charlie and Pearl Mount. Her early childhood was spent in Alva, OK, where she attended school. On June 28, 1925, she was united in marriage to Ged C. Rust. She and her husband resided on a farm near Carrier, OK, and moved to Goltry, OK, in 1967. Her husband preceded her in death on June 10, 1969. She was a dietician at the Carrier High School Cafeteria for several years. After she moved to Enid she resided at the Highland Park Manor for 3 years. She was Mrs. Highland Park Manor Queen in 1988. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Goltry Lioness Club

Mrs. Rust is survived by 1 daughter, Mrs. Dew! ey Betty King, of Enid and 1 son Bob Rust, and wife Kathy of Oklahoma City, OK, 1 sister, Maxine Hart of Fall River, KS, 1 sister-in-law Opal Rust of Alva, OK, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grand children and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sisters and 1 brother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
