Funeral services for Buddy Duwayne Rogers, age 57 of Enid, will be today, Thursday, December 18, 1997 at 1:30 PM in the Willow View United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Bauman officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Mr. Rogers was born on February 9, 1940 in Enid, Oklahoma, the son of Ora Dean and Hazel Marie Campbell Rogers, and died early Tuesday, December 16, 1997 at his residence. He was raised and educated in Enid, graduating from Enid high school in 1958.

He married Loretta Sharen Stonehocker in Enid on September 4, 1959. He was a carpenter for 10 years before working for Union Equity where he worked for 25 years as a maintenance machinist.

He was a member of the Willow View United Methodist Church, the NRA, and the BMW Riders Association. He was a heart transplant recipient since 1988.

He is survived by his wife Sharen of the residence; son, Justin Wayne and wife Brenda Rogers of Enid; daughters, Mrs. Teary (Tracie Denise) Crissup of Bedford, Texas, three grandchildren: Tyler Crissup, Treavor Rogers, and Tanner Rogers, and a sister, Laurene Dobbs of Kearny, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials but be made in Mr. Rogers' memory to the Willow View United Methodist Church or to Hospice, Circle of Love with Brown Funeral Home serving as custodian of the fund. rogersbud
