October 9, 1942 - April 16, 2021

Celebration of Life Service for James H. "Jim" Robinson, age 78, of Enid, will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Major Doug Williams, U.S. Army, Ret., officiating. Burial with Military Honors provided by the United States Army Honors Team will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, April 20th at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jim was born October 9, 1942, in Clifton, NJ to Frank and Margaret (Hartzell) Robinson, and passed away April 16, 2021, Enid. He joined the United States Army two weeks after graduating from Clifton High School. He served his country as a Communications Chief during the Vietnam War. After eight years of service, Jim went on to graduate from Cameron University with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration. In 1976, Jim moved to Enid, where he worked at Enid Data Systems. In 1983, he married Connie LaMunyon at the First Methodist Church of Enid. He retired from Enid Data after working there for 31 years.

In retirement, Jim spent his time with friends at the Enid Moose Lodge and the Enid AM AMBUCS. He regularly shared his talents as an amazing cook with family and friends.

Jim leaves behind his wife Connie; five children, James Robinson and Donna Murray of Enid; Dorothy and husband Scott Odenwald of Colorado; Susan Sargent, of Texas; Craig Simpson and wife Lisa, of Texas; Curt and Kristina Robinson, of Enid; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Robinson, of New Jersey; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and his faithful furry friend, Charlie.

Memorial contributions in Jim's name may be made to the Enid AM AMBUCS or the Enid Moose Lodge with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
