Michael Alan RIEKENBERG
Enid News and Eagle
Enid, Garfield Co., OK
03-31-2013
Submitted by: Ann Weber

Our precious Michael left the arms of the ones that love him on Friday, March 29, 2013, and entered the arms of Jesus, who loves him even more. Michael was 53 years old. Michael was born Nov. 26, 1959, in Wichita, Kan., to Richard and Walterean Riekenberg.

Michael is walking the streets of gold with his Heavenly Father, talking non-stop and eating all the green bean casserole his tummy will hold. Michael loved rocking his niece, DeeNa and nephew Douglas, when they were babies. He loved his favorite buddies “Freddy” and “Phil,” rocking in his chair, playing with his water toys, listening to “Hey Jude” by the Beatles, singing “Jesus Loves Me,” and the color purple. Michael had an ornery smile, along with a good heart and soul. He will be greatly missed every day.

Michael was preceded in death by his Granny and Grandpa Riekenberg, Grandma and Grandpa Diveley, and cousin Kelly. Michael is survived by his dad and mom, Richard and Walterean Riekenberg; sister and husband, Brenda and Steve Woodford; brother and wife, Terry and Karen Riekenberg; nephew and wife, Douglas and Jamie Woodford; niece and husband, DeeNa and Josh Womble; great-niece, Miranda; great-nephews, Ayden and Asher; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.

uneral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, with Pastor Scott Whittenburg and Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
