Gary Boyce Reid, 29, died Wednesday afternoon July 21, 1982 near Pawnee, from injuries received in a train accident. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday July 24, 1982 in Ladusau Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Phillip Ball officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Reid was born Feb. 16,1953 in Enid. He attended school in Enid, graduating in 1971. He also attended Phillips University and Oklahoma State University, Stillwater and was employed as a brakeman with Burlington Northern Railroad since 1973.

Reid was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, Jonathan Trevor Reid, of the home; his parents, Will and Lila Reid, Enid; one sister Mrs Charles (Marlene) Hall, Oklahoma City; and one brother Ron Reid, Oklahoma City.
