ENID, Okla. - Funeral service for Charlotte Raper, 74, of Enid, will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, with Pastor Carl Roberts officiating. Family graveside service will be in Memorial Park Cemetery on Monday.

Charlotte was born Nov. 30, 1938, in Enid to James E. and Dorothy (Holloway) Watts and passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, in Enid.

Charlotte attended Enid schools, and later graduated from Beech's Beauty School.

She owned and operated a beauty shop in her home for many years, retiring in 2007.

On Nov. 18, 1973, Charlotte married Carl Raper in Kremlin, and they made their home in Enid. She was a longtime member of Harvest Time Worship Center. Charlotte was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by two daughters, Sherri Ruth Jones and husband Jeffrey of Enid, and Vicki Lynn Wynn and husband Steve of Edmond; son, James Samuel Snyder and wife Patty of Enid; seven grandchildren, Joshua Morphew and wife Sondra, Samantha Morphew, Sara Snyder Williams and husband Dustin, Steven Snyder, Sydni Jones, Alex Jones and Bayli Jones; one sister, Ruth Norman and husband Jack of Enid; two nephews, David and Mark Norman; and sister-in-law, Opal Wood.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; her parents; and brother, Jimmy Watts.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Harvest Time Worship Center.
