ENID, Okla. — The memorial service for Mr. Dean J. Oxford, 57, of Enid, will be Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Fullerton officiating. Service and cremation are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born Feb. 5, 1955, to Roy and Florence Sodowsky Oxford in Teaneck, N.J., and passed away Jan. 23, 2013, in Enid. He grew up in Enid and graduated Enid High School in 1973. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1977 with a degree in advertising. He was a member of Sigma Chi. He married Bessie in 1984. He was a manager for Horne Oil, now MXD Services, for 30 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing online poker

He is survived by his wife, Bessie, of Enid; his three sons, Michael, Ritchie, and Timothy; two grandchildren, Bayleigh and Braden; his mother, Florence, of Enid; two brothers, Neil and wife, Sharon Oxford of Enid and Scot and wife, Lisa Oxford of Edmond. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Oxford.
