The funeral for Randall Dee "R. D." Oswald, 89, will be 2 PM Friday in Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Steve Williams, minister, and Everett Ohls will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was born July 19, 1912, in Cherokee to Preston and Berdie L. Barnes Oswald and died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at Highland Park Manor.

He farmed and worked a dairy until 1947, was a mechanic for a Chevrolet dealer, drove a truck for Ray Hays Truck Lines and was custodian for Enid Public Schools. He retired from the state Highway Division. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and I0OF Oddfellow Lodge for 62 years and a past noble grand. He also belonged to Thunderbirds, a camping club. On August 6, 1931, he married Iva Mae Moore.

Surviving are his wife, Iva; two sons, Randall and Donald, both of Enid; three daughters, Darlia Hunt of Missions Hills, California, Doris Easton of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Diana Voss of Enid; 15 grandchildren; 25 great – grandchildren; six great – great – grandchildren; six step grandchildren; and six step great – grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one grandson.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice of Dean McGee Eye Instate.

Iva Mae OSWALD
The funeral for Iva Mae Oswald, 92, of Enid, OK., will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid, OK.
She was born Aug. 6, 1913, at Aline, OK. to Lindsey Lynn and Bertha Harriett Moore and died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005. She graduated from Aline High School

She married Randal D. Oswald Aug. 6, 1931, at Cherokee, OK. They farmed several years before moving to town. She worked in a laundry several years as well as Gold Spot and Knox Fountain. She worked as a nurse aide at Bass Hospital and nursing homes until she retired in 1972. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and Rebecca Lodge.
Surviving are five children, Randall D. of Enid, OK., Darlia Hunt of Mission Hill, Calif., Doris Easton of Navarre, Fla., Donald of Enid, OK., and Diana Voss of Enid, OK.; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; 13 stepgreat-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband Randal, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, one stepgrandchild and two great-grandchildren.
