The funeral for Mabel M. Osborne, 91, of Enid, will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Redeemer Lutheran Church. The Rev. Christopher Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born Jan. 10, 1915, in Holloway, Minn., to Julius and Marie Hoppe Koehler and died Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at Highland Park Nursing Home.

She grew up and attended school in Holloway.

She married James Raymond Osborne June 6, 1935, in Fairfield Township, Minn. They lived in Appleton, Minn., before moving to Rock Rapids, Iowa. They moved to Enid in 1951 and in 1982, they moved to McAllen, Texas. He died Aug. 22, 1994.

She returned to Enid in 1999. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Surviving are one son, Jim Osborne of Montgomery, Texas; two daughters, Mary Durheim of McAllen and Joanne Holle of Enid; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Redeemer Lutheran Church children’s music fund or Hospice Circle of Love.
