Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Ernest O’Neal, 85, of Enid, Okla., will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Tony Crispo officiating.

Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Chapel.

Ernest was born Aug. 29, 1929, in Enid, Okla., the son of Raleigh O’Neal and Lena Koehn Stratton, and passed away Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014.

Survivors include a daughter, Paula Kirtland and husband Chris of Altus, Okla.; son, David O’Neal and wife Susan of Enid; six grandchildren, Will, Melissa, Misty, Michael, Ryan and Kristin; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cleva and Vi; and three brothers, Harvey, Bob and Cecil.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Paulene; a son, Ernest O’Neal Jr.; and one sister, Margie.

Memorial contributions may be made to donor’s choice, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
