— Funeral service for Margaret Allene Olmstead, 82, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Margaret was born March 19, 1931, in Hayward, Okla., the daughter of Chris Allen and Maggie Billups Poindexter and died Monday, April 22, 2013, at Greenbrier Nursing Home.

She was united in marriage to Ted E. Olmstead on July 15, 1951, in Perry, Okla. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Victory Bible Church. She volunteered at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center for many years.

Survivors include three sons, T.A. Olmstead and wife Nancy, Edward “Eddy” Olmstead and wife Paula, and Jim Olmstead, all of Enid, Okla.; six grandchildren, Wendy, Colton, Caitlin, Candice, Lee and James; one great-grandson, Cameron; three brothers, Richard, Don and Jim Poindexter; and one sister, Betty Hoover and several nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Ella Mae Poindexter, and a niece, Tami Bell.
