Mary Irene Oller

April 19, 1924 - February 17, 2019

Funeral service celebrating Mary Oller, 94, of Enid, will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 21, 2019, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tom Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mary was born April 19, 1924 in Enid, the third of five children to Fred and Ovia (Leverich) Knopp and entered into eternal rest on February 17, 2019 at her home in Enid.

Mary grew up in the Waukomis area and graduated from Waukomis High School. She was married to Harry Hopper and they had five children. Mary worked as a bookkeeper at Champlin Petroleum and retired after 20 years. Harry passed away in 1962 and she married George Oller in 1966. She was a member of Central Christian Church. She enjoyed exercising and making friends at the YMCA. She liked to spend time with her grandkids, loved to sew and quilt, and in later years she had a fondness for reading and playing dominoes and Yahtzee.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, a daughter, two brothers, two sisters, her parents and two step-sons.

She is survived by her children: David Hopper, Kingfisher; Joy Blakely (John), Enid; Terry Hopper (Judy), Palmdale, CA; Mary Beth Hinderliter (Bert), Enid; step-daughter Joona Houska, Perry; 2 daughter-in-laws Patricia Oller, Billings, and Mary Lou Oller, Enid; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A great debt of gratitude goes to the wonderful ladies who gave Mary so much love and care in her final years on the earth!

Memorial may be made through Anderson-Burris to Central Christian Caregivers. Guestbook is available online at www.andersonburris.com.
