A Private immediate family service for Larry T. Newman age 73 of Enid will be 10:00 am Monday, March 30, 2020 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Carrell Still officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Larry was born July 30, 1946 in Enid to Murrell and Emma Thornburgh Newman and passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at the Northwest Specialty Hospital in Enid. He grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High in 1965. He married Betty Bentley on October 8, 1965 in Enid. He owned and operated Newman Construction Company for many years retiring in 2016. He attended Davis Park Christian Church.

Larry is survived by his wife Betty of the home, two daughters; Stephanie (Virgil) Case of Stillwater and Shelly Bateman of Enid, son Jeremy (Stephanie) Newman of Enid, six grandchildren; Austin Newman, Ashlan Case, Caleb Case, Jade Newman, Addy Bateman and Morgan Newman, brother Leon Newman of Enid and sister Ramona Fox of McCune, KS and several other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters; Donna, Lavonna, and Carolyn.
