Gretchen Sue [Fields] Parsons Massey
September 21, 1939 ~ January 7, 2020


The graveside service for Gretchen Sue Massey, 80 year-old former Enid resident, will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 15, 2020 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Gail Edmison officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Gretchen passed away peacefully, in the arms of her husband and soul mate, Jack in the evening hours of January 7, 2020 in her home in Oklahoma City.

Gretchen was born September 21, 1939 in Enid, Oklahoma to Ray and Erma [Throckmorton] Fields. She graduated form Enid High School with the class of 1957.

In 1958, she married Willy Parsons. They had three sons, Clay of OKC, Curtis of Enid, and Gary.

She is survived by her two eldest sons, Clay and Curtis Parsons. Also surviving are four stepchildren, Michael, Steven, Lori and Melissa, all of Yukon. Six grandchildren, Brandon, Collin, Christopher, Samuel, Blaze and Skylar. Three great grandchildren, Serenity, Brielle and Ruby.

She was an avid member of Al-Anon and Heart To Heart Women's Retreat groups.

Gretchen loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to OMRF, Alzheimer's Division.
