© Henninger Hinson Funeral Home Garfield County, OK August 12, 1930 Pauline Francis Becker, 80, former Enid OK resident, passed away Oct. 15, 2010, in Olathe KS. Pauline was born August 12, 1930, in Orlando OK to Dewey and Erma [Klausmier] Thrasher. At an early age the family moved to Enid where she attended Jefferson Grade School and Emerson Junior High. In 1947, she married Glen McCormick, with whom she had two children. She worked for Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator and also worked as a caregiver in nursing homes and the Enid State School Hospital. She did private sitting later in life. She valued home life above all, raising her children, and enjoying her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Having friends stop by to visit was very special. Family members include her son Larry McCormick of Enid; grandchildren Tanya Rance and husband Braden of Olathe, Eric Suttles and wife Kim of Krebs OK, Heath McCormick and wife Megan of Edmond OK, Gayla Santos and husband Greg of San Diego CA; four great grandchildren; and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands S.J. Lovelady and Leo Becker; daughter Linda [McCormick] Jester; sister Irene Johnson; and infant son Kent Scheffe. The graveside service will be Thursday, October 21, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the Memorial Park Mausoleum. Deacon Tony Crispo will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. |
