Krausse, 95, of Garber, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Garden Chapel in Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid. The Rev Roy Fleshman will officiate. Arrangements are by Dugger Funeral Home, Garber. She was born November 10, 1910, in Ochelata, to Grover Henry and Mary Elizabeth Wilbar Hornstien and died Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at St Mary's Regional Medical Center. She graduated from Oklahoma A&M; in 1934. She married Willie “Bill” Krausse August 6, 1934, in Bartlesville. He died July 29, 1999. She was a member of Garfield Homemakers Club, Garber Quilting Club and Christian Women’s Club. She won first place in 1990 for a poem she wrote in the Oklahoma State Conference on Aging Senior Poetry Contest. Surviving are two sons, Karl W. Krausse of Wichita, Kansas, and Stanley D. Krausse of Adair; one sister, Clara Kitlinger of Florida; two grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by one sister. Krausse age 85 of Enid will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Tom Stanley and Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Bertie was born February 17, 1924 in Jet, OK to Wilbur and Gilberta Combs Platt and passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Integris Bass Baptist Hospital. She grew up in Jet where she graduated from Jet High School. She attended Phillips University. She married Edwin Krausse on April 20, 1974 at Central Christian Church. Bertie was a member of Central Christian Church where she was active in the Hand Bell Choir, volunteered in the office and the library. Bertie worked at Clinesmtih Furniture as the office manager. Bertie is survived by her husband Edwin of the home, daughter Amy Johnson of Edmond, two grandsons; Asher and Silas Johnson of Edmond, several nephews nieces. Krausse, 83, Enid, is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with Dr. Tom Stanley and Rev. Don Tines officiating. Ed was born August 13, 1938 in Enid to Rudolf and Edna [Wolf] Krausse and passed away early Wednesday morning in St Mary's Hospital. He attended and graduated from Enid High School. He later attended and graduated from Oklahoma State University. He entered the U. S. Army serving three years and then was honorably discharged. He married Bertie Plat on April 20, 1974 at Central Christian Church and she passed away October 12, 2019. Ed started working for Southwestern Bell Telephone, retiring after 40 years. He was a member of Central Christian Church. Ed enjoyed model airplanes, gardening, fishing and working in his shop. He looked forward to visiting with his coffee group every morning at McDonald's. Ed is survived by his, daughter Amy Johnson, two grandsons; Asher and Silas Johnson, two sisters; Rudena McPherson and Martha Axton as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Bertie. Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodians of the funds. Enid, Oklahoma September 2019 September 10, 1941 ~ September 8, 2019 Larry was born September 10, 1941, in Enid, OK to Kurt and Mildred Overstreet Krausse, and passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019. He attended Douglas School, graduating in 1959. Larry married Karen Skidmore on September 26, 1959 in the Garber First Baptist Church. They made their home in Enid. Larry worked at Enid Dental Lab and later at Farmland/Koch Industries, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed his kids and grandkids activities. Larry was a farmer and enjoyed raising cattle. In addition to his wife Karen, he is survived by his children, Rick Krausse and wife Wrendy of Enid, Jodeana Pralle and husband Jon of Fairmont, and Jeff Krausse of Yukon; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one sister, Deloris Williams of WI, and a brother, Herman [Beverly] of Enid. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Bryson; sister and husband, Betty and Ted Clickner; brother-in-law, Pat Williams. |
