Ann [Ashcraft] Koehn
June 14, 1938 ~ April 10, 2013

On Flag Day, June 14, 1938, Ernest Roy and Bothilda Myrle Broom Ashcraft received the blessing of a babe with a servant's heart. Bothilda "Ann" Ashcraft Koehn was born on a farm near Ringwood, Okla.

Her family moved to Enid, Okla., where she spent the next 65 years of her life. She was the youngest of five children.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Leonard.

As a child, Ann believed the flags flew on her birthday just for her.

She loved the outdoors, climbing trees and spending her days with her neighborhood friends, who have remained friends throughout her lifetime. Ann always had a bountiful basket of friends, and everywhere she went she never met a stranger.

Ann found her Savior at the age of 10, and spent 70 years of her life serving Him as a member of Central Assembly of God, formerly known as Northside Assembly of God in Enid, Okla.

She went home to be with her Savior on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, after a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma.

Ann was blessed with three children, Meichelle Ann Wood, married to Richard Wood of Pittsburg, Kan., Carol Ann Crist of Aurora, Colo., and Marc Aaron Koehn, married to Renee Koehn of Enid, Okla., all of whom survive. She was blessed even further with seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, who affectionately called her GiGi.

For many years, she served the church's nursery, as children have always and to the day she left this earth, brought her great joy and happiness.

Ann is survived by Jim Dave Koehn, who she married on January 2, 1961, in Enid, Okla. They spent the past 52 years together.

After spending the first 51 years of their marriage in Enid, Okla., this past October 2012, they moved together to their daughter's home in Pittsburg, Kan.

She is also survived by two brothers, Ernest Ashcraft of Tahlequah, Okla., and Leo Ashcraft of Mount Vernon, Texas, and one sister, Evalyn Thompson of Enid, Okla.

Her servant's heart cared for many in her family as they grew old and needed a caregiver and helping hand. Many a dish of "leftovers" left her home to go next door to a neighbor who needed a meal, or an elderly member in the church who was alone. She served in the kitchen at her church for funeral dinners, anniversaries, birthday parties, and most of all for the Star Widows, as she said the elderly of the church were who she loved the most.

She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends who knew she could always be counted on for wonderful creative ideas for every event and for being a helping hand that never seemed to wear out.

She may be best known in the Enid community for serving as a hostess for the "Heartland Share" for 10 years, because her heart felt love for all the folks who were struggling and in need of affordable food.

A celebration of her life will be held at Central Assembly of God, 1202 W. Oxford, Enid, Okla., on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, 6405 Memorial Drive, Enid, Okla., under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with family will be 5:30-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Sharon Kay [Rork] Koehn
October 24, 1946 ~ November 8, 2020

A graveside service for Sharon Kay [Rork]Jones Koehn, age 73, of Lahoma, will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 16, 2020, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev Bill Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Sharon was born on Tuesday, December 17, 1946, in Oakland, Calif., to Kenneth Lee Rork, "Bobo", and Jessie Mae [Glor] "Granny", and left this earth per God's plan for her on Sunday, November 8, 2020, to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She endured, battled and won many life-threatening illnesses for the last several years, but she couldn't overcome the COVID-19 symptoms during the last week of her life.

Sharon was blessed with a beautiful soul and was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, but most importantly, she was "Momo" to her family and every person she ever met. She never lost her faith during her battles and always believed that "Even IF" God didn't heal her, her hope is God alone, and it is well with her soul. He was always her rock and strength to face every setback life threw at her.

In 1947, Granny, Bobo and Sharon moved to Carrier, Okla., where she grew up on a farm with her four siblings. Sharon attended all 12 years at Carrier school and graduated in 1964.

After graduating from high school, she married Billy Dan Jones and she gave birth to her two children Brian Dan Jones and Cathy Jo [Jones] Eide.

She worked at a variety of jobs for many years, such as a waitress, butcher shop, Evans Drug downtown, Enid State School, Lahoma Co-op, K-Mart, Chesterfield Cylinder Company as a quality control inspector, until she was approached by Billy Sims, the Lahoma Co-op manager, where he stated he needed her to return to be his office manager, and she found her niche, as she worked there 34 years until her retirement.

You will not find a farmer, another bookkeeper or office manager in this area that didn't know her and her importance to the Lahoma Farmers Co-op.

Sharon attended the United Church of Lahoma, where she served on the church board and the Women's Circle as their secretary and treasurer; she was an Awana leader, as well as a Cub Scout and Girl Scout Brownie leader in the community.

She also attended Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church, was a member of the Domino Girl's and "The Golden Girls" girlfriends.

Sharon was very active in her children's lives through her attendance and support but as the driving force behind all of their endeavors with her encouraging words of wisdom, love, and compassion.

Sharon met the LOVE of her life at the top of the escalator at Evans Drug, Loren Dale Koehn; they were married August 9, 1974, and were soul mates. He took in her two children as his own and raised them as their dad. He is the man who doted on and cared for Sharon, as well as her mother Jessie for the remainder of their lives together and is always there for his two children and their families as Dad and Popo.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Kenneth Lee Rork, and father and mother-in-law Abe and Elizabeth Koehn, and her baby brother Steve Rork. Her mother Jessie Rork, Granny, joined her in Heaven two days later, as they were inseparable the last years of their lives.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Loren Koehn; son Brian "Calvin" Jones; daughter Cathy and Alan Eide of Kenmare, N.D.: two brothers, Roy and Janice Rork of Enid, Gary and Holly Rork of Norman; one sister, Linda Cottom of Goltry: grandchildren, Alysha and Jeremy Alexander of Liberty Hill, Texas, Michelle and Jaylen Fjeldahl of Minot, N.D., Brianna and Jonathan Rankin of Lafayette, Colo., Jantz Feland and Codi Evenson of Antler, N.D.: great-grandchildren, Ziah Jones of Kenmare, N.D., Ariya and Olyvia Alexander of Liberty Hill, Texas, Emmie Feland of Antler, N.D.

Memorials may be made to St Jude's Children Hospital, Boys Town or the memorial of your choice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
