Funeral services for Mrs. Chrystobel “Castor” Jurey, 92, Enid, will be held, Saturday, September 29, 2012, at 10:00am in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Bill Stephens officiating and Cathy Gifford as co-officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Chrystobel was born July 4, 1920 on her family's farm North East of Goltry, Oklahoma, the daughter of Loyd and Ruth “Crouse” Castor and passed from this life September 24, 2012 in Enid. She was raised in Goltry Graduating from Nash High School in 1937. She was married October 12, 1940 to Lowell Jurey.

She was a long time Member of the Central United Methodist church, currently Willow View, where she also served as Treasure.

She worked as her husband's secretary for the Oklahoma Paper Company. She enjoyed working in her daughter's bakery Cher-Den's for many years as a baker.

She is survived by her Daughter, Cheryl Peters and husband Dennis of Enid and Son, Wesley L. Jurey and wife Bertha of Irving, TX. Grand Children Robby Bangs and wife Melissa of Enid, Jonnie and wife Jessica of Dallas TX; Great Grand Children, Ashley Bangs and Aiden Benson.

She was preceded by her Parents and her husband, Lowell Jurey.
