January 13, 1946 - July 20, 2017

The graveside services celebrating the life of Linda J. Jones, 71, of Enid will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday July 25, 2017 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Kenneth Wade officiating. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Army National Guard. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born January 13, 1946 in Bengal, Oklahoma and passed from this life on July 20, 2017 in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in the Bengal, Oklahoma community and graduated from high school. In 1966, she married James H. Hicks. She worked in the restaurant industry and at Champlain Credit Union as their manager and with the Liberty Federal Savings Bank. In 1980, she enlisted with the Army National Guard, and served until being honorably discharged in 1990. After serving she began driving a long-haul semi-truck until medically unable. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was baptized and confirmed there.

She is survived by her Brother, Gene Reinhart, and her Sisters, Freda, Karen, Mary Jane, and Veda.

She was preceded in death by her Son, James W. Hicks; Husband, James F. Hicks; and her Parents, both biological and adoptive.
