March 24, 1937 - December 8, 2019

A Celebration of Life for David Thomas Jones, age 82, of Enid, is 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Emmanuel Enid with Pastor Wade Burleson officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 13th, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

David was born March 24, 1937 in Russellville, Arkansas to R.M. and Bessie (Stevens) Jones, and passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 in Enid.

David and Barbara opened the Foode Shoppe in 1980. David also worked in sales for Pepsi-Cola, Bond Bread, Frito-Lay, Wonder Bread, Dolly Madison and Northcutt.

He loved his family dearly, enjoyed music and cherished his two dogs, Wendie and Buddy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Donna Jones; two brothers, Veo Jones and Rubin Jones.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Jones, Enid; son Ronald Jones and wife Melanie, of Midland, TX; daughters, Carolyn Owens and husband Ken, of Jenks, OK; six grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, of San Antonio, TX; Dereck Owens, of Sweetwater, TX; Courtney Luoma and husband Nathan, of Midland, TX; Stephanie Rocco and husband Chris, of Houston, TX; Shelby Jones and Katie Jones, both of Midland, TX; and four great-grandchildren; Jackson and Elizabeth Luoma; and Ethan and Emma Rocco.

Memorials in David's name may be made the OMRF Diabetes Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
