Mrs Jones is survived by three daughters, Mrs Dorothea Shaunty, at home, Mrs Minnie Warner of El Paso, Texas, and Mrs Floss Schnitzer of Bartlesville, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. © Henninger Allen Funeral Home Garfield County, OK November 11, 2005 April 13, 1914 ~ November 8, 2005 William Rayford "Wilford" Jones was born on April 13, 1914, at Lockney, Texas to William Albert "Wilber" and Irene Lettitia "Tishie" Wood Jones and passed away November 8, 2005, at his home in Enid. He was the third child of seven children. Being raised in a Christian home, he devoted his life to God at an early age and became a Methodist minister. He was also a loving husband and father. Wilford's family moved from Lockney to Memphis, Texas at an early age. He graduated in 1930 from Memphis High School at the age of 16. He attended Texas Southwestern College at Weatherford, Texas, Miami Oklahoma Junior College at Miami, OK, and Northeastern in Tahlequah, OK. His seminary was done by correspondence courses from Perkins, Southern Methodist University, Saint Paul's in Kansas City, Oklahoma City University, and Colorado where he received his degree. Ordination was in Okmulgee, OK. In 1938, Wilford moved to Bluejacket, OK where he taught school, attended college, and held a 5 circuit pastorate. He met his future wife at a revival in Mobeetie; where he was the songleader and she was the pianist. On August 11, 1939 he and Aileene Lee were married at Mobeetie, Texas. She preceded him in death on June 28, 2005. They celebrated 65 years 11 months of marriage. After they were married, they lived in Bluejacket, and then served churches all over the state of Oklahoma. The churches he was pastor of or the appointments he held were Bluejacket, Welch, Allan, Saint Louis, Wilberton, Tipton, Hollis, Guymon, Duncan, Woodward District Superintendent, Saint Paul's Muskogee, Tulsa Will Rogers, Administrator of the Share Convalescent Hospital in Alva, Woodward First Church, First Methodist in Oklahoma City, Superintendent of Children Services for the Children's Home in Tahlequah, Francis E. Willard Home in Tulsa, Altus First Methodist, Putnam City, and Midwest City. He retired from the ministry in 1974. Other accomplishments during Wilford's life were: In 1953 he was the youngest district superintendent having ever served. He received his Doctor of Divinity Degree in 1955 from Oklahoma City University. In 1951 he became a 32nd degree Mason and went on to become a Shriner the following year. He was also involved in the Indian Affairs of the Methodist Church. After his retirement, he became a real estate salesman in Oklahoma City, being affiliated with Key Realty. He received his license in 1974. In 1976 they moved to Enid. Preceding him in death were his wife, parents, two sisters, and two brothers. Survivors are three daughters, La Nita Jones of the home, Linda Goad and husband Jerry of Marion, Iowa, and Leanna Messenger and husband Roy of Hillsdale; two brothers, Durward Jones of Amarillo, Texas and and Rayburn Jones of Birmingham, Alabama; six grandchildren, Michael and Pam Goad of Whittier, IA., Mary Goad and Mitch Goad of Marion, IA., Scott and Kelli Messenger of Goltry, Shannon and Annette Messenger of Ponca City, and Stephanie and Jon Peveler of Oilton, OK; seven great grandchildren and one step granddaughter. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, November 10, 2005, in the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev Phil Ware will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. © Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma July 1, 2005 July 10, 1914 ~ June 28, 2005 Monnie Aileene Lee Jones was born to Frank and Lillie Mae Lee and passed on at her home in Enid, Oklahoma. She grew up in Mobeetie, Texas and graduated from high school both in Mobeetie and Wellington, Texas, valedictorian of both classes with the Classes of 1932. On August 11, 1939, she married Wilford Jones and they moved to Oklahoma. Over a 37 year span they served 19 pastorates throughout the state for the Methodist Church, ending with retirement in 1976 to Enid, Oklahoma. Aileene was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Enid. Aileene was an accomplished pianist, accompanying many gospel quartets. Her other talents were those of making a house a home for her husband and three daughters, including sewing, cooking, decorating, and supporting her family in any way possible, for which we each one are a better person. She is survived by her husband Wilford and daughter La Nita of the home; two daughters, Leanna and her husband Roy Messenger of Hillsdale and Linda and her husband Jerry Goad of Marion, Iowa; six grandchildren, Michael Goad and wife Pamela Mitchell Goad, Mary Goad, Scott Messenger and wife Kelli. Shannon Messenger and wife Annette, and Stephanie Peveler and husband Jon; eight great grandchildren, Christian, Ashley, Gabrielle, and Gracie Goad, Kolton Brandt, Ashlyn Messenger, Benjamin Messenger, and Taylor Massey. She was preceded in death by her parents. She obtained practically all of her education in Mobeetie, having attended Wellington High School only five weeks. She graduated from Wellington High School with the Class of 1932, therefore, she was the Valedictorian of both classes. |

Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Morrison. The Rev Floyd Wingo will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid. Jones was born November 17, 1914 in Atkin, Oklahoma, and he had been a Southern Baptist minister and served a number of Oklahoma churches. He was an electrical contractor and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife Elvaion of the home, daughters Norma Wolfe, Sapulpa, and Wanda Turley, Waco, Texas. He had seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. |

Paul was born July 10, 1920, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Benjamin and Gertrude VanScyoc Jones, and passed away June 5, 2015. He graduated from Enid High School in 1940 and then attended many trade schools. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during WW II. He served in Italy, France and Africa. He was united in marriage to Mary McCullough August 10, 1956, in Enid, Oklahoma. Paul was employed by Longbell Lumber Company and then he owned and operated Paul's Glass and Floors for more than 20 years. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and a member of American Legion for more than 65 years, Kiwanis Club and The Camera Club, winning several first-place ribbons for his photography. He was chairman of the committee for nurse's training, Boys and Girls State. He also enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter, Karen Smith and her husband Scott of Enid; a son, Stephen Jones of Washington, D.C.; four grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Catherine and Christina; two great grandchildren, Alex and Sky; a stepgrandchild, Jordan; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sister Pauline; a brother Ben; and a step great grandson, Braden. Edna grew up in the Aline-Cleo Springs area and attended Square Cedar School. On October 1, 1940, she married Orville Leroy Jones in Cherokee. As a young wife and mother, Edna followed her husband to Army bases in Mississippi and California before he was sent to Europe to fight in World War II. She moved to Enid in 1952 and worked for Jack and Jill and Marquis Studio. Edna was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. He attended local schools and after High School enlisted in the United States Army and served in the 45th infantry Division under the command of O.T. Autry. On February 29, 1952 he married Marlene Elissa Holloway in Davis Park Christian Church. He was a long-time member of Bible Baptist Church where he drove the Sunday School Bus and was an usher. After retiring from truck driving, Billy drove for Wheatheart Nutrition delivering Meals on Wheels. He enjoyed Camping, hunting and the outdoors, but most of all loved fishing and spending time with his family. Billy is survived by his son, Tim Jones and wife, Gayla of Enid; grandchildren, Ashley Williams and husband, Jared of Montclair, VA; Katie Linn and husband Kyle of Edmond; five great-grandchildren, Wesley, Sophie, Hannah, Sarah and Oliver. Marlene was born August 10, 1931 in Enid to Clarence and Opal [Tunnell] Holloway and died Monday, December 17, 2012 in her home surrounded by her family. She attended local schools and went to work for Woolworth's after the end of her junior year. She also worked at the Emerson Cafeteria for a time. On February 29, 1952 she married Billy Gene Jones in Davis Park Christian Church. The couple made their home in Enid, where for over 33 years Marlene worked at the Vance Child Development Center, retiring in 2002. She was a long-time member of Bible Baptist Church where she also taught Sunday School. She devoted her energy to her family, her church family, and to her Vance children. She loved shopping for her family. She also enjoyed baking the best chocolate cakes. She is survived by her husband Billy Gene Jones, of the home, her son, Tim G. Jones and wife Gayla, of Enid, her two grandchildren; Ashley Williams and husband Jared, and Katie Linn and husband Kyle, all of Edmond. Three great-grandchildren, Wesley, Sophie, and Hannah. She was born January 12, 1932, in Leonard, Texas, to Richard and Jimmie Green, and passed from this life on November 22, 2018, in Enid, Oklahoma. She was raised and educated in Fredrick, OK, graduating from Boyd High School. In September 1947 she married Loran Jones Sr in Fredrick OK. She worked for NODA - Northern Oklahoma Development Association, as a Program Coordinator in seven counties for five years. She later went on to receive her Early Childhood Development Certificate and retired as a teacher for the Enid Head Start Program. She served as the First Lady of the First Missionary Baptist Church for 20 years. She then served as the First Lady of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Enid for 16 years. After the death of her husband of over 47 years she rejoined the First Missionary Baptist Church of Enid under the Rev Alfred Baldwin. She served as a Sunday School teacher, President of the Women's Mission Department, President of the Western District Women's Association and the Women's Retreat Director for the Western District. She was one of the founding members of the Interracial Women's Club of Enid. She served on the Advisory Boards for a host of nonprofit organizations including the YWCA, were she was named Woman of the Year and was an active member for over 40 years. She served on the Board of Directors for CDSA - Children Development Support Association, PEGASYS, Phillips University, Habitat for Humanity and volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate - CASA. She was a Girl Scout Troop Leader, a member of the Garfield County American War Mothers. Her first and foremost occupation in life was raising her family. She is survived by her son, Loren Jones Jr and wife Sandra of Phoenix, AZ; her three daughters, Joslyn Petty and husband Paul of Enid, OK, Dorothy Jones Jr of Edmond OK, Lillian Williams and Keith of Edmond, OK; daughter-in-law, Dr Nina Jones of Tulsa, OK; son-in-law, Pete Miller, of Enid, OK; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her husband Rev Loren Jones Sr, daughter Wilma Deneice Miller and son Dr Phillip Jones. Olinda is survived by her husband, Max of the home; three sons, Rev Mark Jones of Lewisville, TX, Dr Tim Jones of Edmond, and Robert Jones of Dallas, TX; two daughters, Ginger Cass of Meno, and Tracy Weaver of Piedmont, OK; one brother, Lee Kent of Kilgore, TX; four sisters, Cappie Hyden of Groesbeck, TX, Bonnie Meeker of Longview, TX, Evie Reim of Enid, OK and Ruthie Ging of Enid; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Jones, 71, of Enid will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday July 25, 2017 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Kenneth Wade officiating. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Army National Guard. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. She was born January 13, 1946 in Bengal, Oklahoma and passed from this life on July 20, 2017 in Enid, Oklahoma. She was raised and educated in the Bengal, Oklahoma community and graduated from high school. In 1966, she married James H. Hicks. She worked in the restaurant industry and at Champlain Credit Union as their manager and with the Liberty Federal Savings Bank. In 1980, she enlisted with the Army National Guard, and served until being honorably discharged in 1990. After serving she began driving a long haul semi-truck until she medically unable. She was a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church and was baptized and confirmed there. She is survived by her Brother; Gene Reinhart, and her Sisters; Freda, Karen, Mary Jane, and Veda. Chattanooga, Tennessee June 1979 March 8, 1945 ~ June 2, 1979 Rex was king of his high school vocal group class of 1963. He had a beautiful tenor voice like Jim Nabors. He received his Doctorate in Computer Science in Chattanooga, TN. He was killed in a one vehicle jeep accident in Chattanooga Tn. where he was a computer science professor at the college. |

Stafford, Virginia January 23, 2021 October 20, 1951 ~ January 23, 2021 Stephen Paul Jones, 69, of Stafford, Virginia was born October 20, 1951 in Enid, Oklahoma to Paul and Mary [McCullough] Jones and passed away January 23, 2021. He graduated from Enid High School in 1969. Stephen then attended the University of Oklahoma, and later finished his Master's Degree while living in Colorado. He was working for the Inspector General's Office at the Pentagon the past several years. Stephen is survived by his wife, Soo; daughter, Yoon Ah; Mother, Mary Jones; sister, Karen Smith and her husband Scott; nephews, Jason Smith and his wife Amber; Justin Smith and his wife Nancy; aunt, Winnie Cameron and her husband George; several nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Jones; maternal and paternal grandparents. |

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Susan was born on August 19, 1957, in Rodriguez Army Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to James and Marcy Rhodes Hurd and died on January 15, 2020, with her family by her side in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She attended Covington-Douglas High School, graduating in 1975. Susan was active in the choir and enjoyed playing basketball. She attended Oklahoma State University and later worked in Oklahoma City as a dialysis technician. Susan married Terry Jones and they had two beautiful daughters, Tamara Diane Allen and Sarah Dawn Jones. Susan retired in 2002 due to medical issues. Susan is survived by her parents, Jim and Marcy Hurd; daughters, Tamara Allen and husband Nick, grandsons Conner and Caleb; daughter, Sarah Jones; sister, Frances Rogers and husband David, niece and nephew, Sydney and Luke; brother, John Hurd and wife Cynthia, nieces Catherine and Lauren. Enid, Oklahoma August 2009 November 30, 1975 ~ August 29, 2009 Enid, OK - The funeral for Alicia Dawn Jones, 33, of Enid, will be 11 am today, September 1, 2009, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jerry Holt will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Viewing will be until service time. She was born November 30, 1975, in Oscoda, Mich., to Robert "Ray" and Katherine Reynolds and died Saturday, August 29, 2009. She moved with her family to Enid in 1981, where she attended school and graduated from Enid High School in 1994. She later attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and earned her teaching degree from Northeastern Oklahoma State University. She taught school in Tulsa and Kelleyville before returning to Enid. She was a member of Davis Park Christian Church. Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Katherine and Ron Larsen; her father and stepmother, Ray and Celestia Reynolds; one brother, Brian Reynolds; one sister, Tonia Hutchison; two stepbrothers, Gavin Lyle and Ron Larsen; one stepsister, Amy Larsen; and grandmothers, Violet Bratcher and Lela Kanehl. He was raised and educated in Enid and attended Enid Schools. From his first marriage came his two children Hailey and Hayden. He married Nikki Williams November 11, 2012, in Enid, Ok. and gained two more children Emma and Hunter Stonebarger who gave him the name "Buddy". He began working in the oilfield at the age of 16 and worked for various companies through the years. His childhood dream career was to be a "trash truck Driver" which he accomplished working for the City of Enid for a short time. He returned to the oil and gas industry working for K&S Oilfield services where he became a crane operator, he later worked as a crane operator at K3 Oilfield services. He began working for Tyson Foods as a refrigeration specialist in 2019 where he continued his career until the time of his death. He was a strong-willed person who would stand up for those he loved no matter the circumstance. He enjoyed playing games on his phone, watching reality tv, riding his Harley, and he loved his family fiercely even though he had a hard time showing it sometimes. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife; Nikki Williams, of the home, children; Hailey Jones and fiancĂ© Jayson Bryant, Hayden Jones, and Emma and Hunter Stonebarger, his pride and joy, granddaughter; Kinley Kaye Bryant; his father; William "Bill" Jones; one Aunt; Pam Miller, mother-in-law; Carolyn Williams, brother-in-law; Bobby Trekell and wife Amy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and people who love him.
