December 30, 1942 - April 26, 2019

Celebration of life service for Larry Wayne Johnson, 76 of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019, in the Faith Fellowship Center in Meno, OK, with the Pastor Cody Anderson and Pastor Aubrey Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Larry was born December 30, 1942, in Ratliff City, OK to Hugh and Meddie Lewis Johnson, and passed away peacefully in the night on Friday, April 26, 2019 in Enid.

Larry graduated from Fox High School, and in 1961 he married Linda Benton and they had two daughters. They made their home in Enid. He married Kathie Anderson on June 18, 1971 in Ringwood. Larry worked for Halliburton, and Champlin gas plant, retiring in November of 2013 from Anadarko Petroleum where he did refinery site remediation. He loved to fish and camp and spending time with his family and grandkids. Larry was a member of the Enid Moose Lodge

Larry is survived by his children Angela Presley and husband Wendell of Enid, Holly Minnick and Jim Kolesar of Kremlin, Robyn Johnson of Louisiana and Melissa Berry of Arkansas; eight grandchildren; a brother, Rayford Johnson; and two sisters, Carmelita Wright and Carolyn Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his wife Kathie, one brother and one sister.
