Funeral service for Kathie Johnson, age 70, of Enid, will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Faith Center Fellowship in Meno, with Rev. Cody Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 6:30 at the funeral home.

Kathie was born to Grey Allen and Bernice Wilda (Mosher) Anderson, on October 22, 1945, in Enid, and passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 in Enid.

Kathie graduated from Ringwood High School and Enid Beauty College. On June 18, 1971 she married Larry Wayne Johnson at her parents’ house in Ringwood. She worked at the Helena Boys Training Center, the ASCS office for several years, and then as a private setter at the Methodist Nursing Home. Kathie enjoyed her family, loved watching her grandchildren at sport events, and enjoyed going camping.

Kathie is survived by her husband Larry; 2 daughters Angela Presley (Wendell) of Enid, Holly Minnick and Jim Kolesar of Kremlin; 2 step daughters Robyn Johnson of Louisiana, and Melissa Berry of Arkansas; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers Don Anderson and Gary Anderson both of Ringwood; and sister Mary Lou Rowley of New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bob Anderson.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to OMRF Cancer or Diabetics Foundation.
