Funeral services for Donna Marie Johnson, 70, Enid, will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Donna’s Nephew, Reverend Garry McNeill officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.

Donna was born on May 21, 1945 in Enid, Oklahoma, the daughter of George Lee and Sada Marie Taber McNeill, and passed away peacefully on April 14, 2016 in Enid. She was raised and educated in Enid, graduating from Enid Beauty College at 15 years old, where she was a member of Phi Beta Gamma Sorority. While at NOC, she was always on the Dean’s Honor Roll. Most of Donna’s working career was spent in the medical field, working at Enid Memorial Hospital as a ward clerk, and was on the staff of the first drug and alcohol unit to open.

Donna retired in 1989 due to a physical disability. She loved to help anyone in need, was a great encourager, motivator and never gave up. Her strength, compassion and determination was amazing. God always received the credit and praise for everything in her life.

She is survived by step-children, Brenda Brakhage, Gina Merrit, Verne Johnson, and John Johnson, all of Enid; nephews, Larry (LG) McNeill and family of Enid, and Garry McNeill and family of Cherokee; Donna was preceded in passing by her husband, Clifford, her parents, three brothers, Larry McNeill, Jim McNeill, and Billy Taber; two sisters, Patty and Beverly McNeill, step-daughter, Carma Miller.

Donna requested instead of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory be directed to the First Baptist Church, Benevolent Fund with the Stittsworth’s coordinating.
