Connie was born Sept. 10, 1932, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Angelo and Francis Arena Fischetti and passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City.

She grew up in Brooklyn, and after graduation, she entered the U.S. Army, serving for a short period of time.

After retirement, they moved to Enid in 1970. Connie was a stay at home mom, where she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she would sometimes leave her decoration out all year long.

Connie was an avid wrestling fan and a sassy Italian from Brooklyn, N.Y., who was an independent and generous person. She loved to cook for her family and friends. Her (wit) was one of a kind and will be truly missed by those who knew her.

Connie is survived by four sons, Daryl Jarrett of Oklahoma City, David and DeDe Jarrett of Russellville, Ark., Jimmy and Kim Jarrett of Austin, Texas, and John Jarrett of Tulsa; four daughters, Debra Jarrett of Enid, Kelly Bell of Edmond, Cathy Tucker of Enid, and Patricia Jarrett of Tulsa; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Rocky Fischetti and a sister Barbara Fischetti, both of Hoboken, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, one brother and two sisters.
